Nearly 30 dental professionals receive scholarships
Nearly 30 recipients have been selected from hundreds of applicants across the country for the DANB/DALE Foundation Scholarship and the Liz Koch Memorial Scholarship. For more than a decade, the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) and the DALE Foundation have supported dental assistants and other dental professionals at all career stages through scholarship initiatives.
Each recipient received between $250 and $1,000 to further their careers by earning credentials or advancing their education.

About the scholarships
The DANB/DALE Foundation Scholarship reflects the organizations’ commitment to advancing the dental assistant workforce and the communities they serve.
The Liz Koch Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of Liz Koch, who was named DANB’s Chief Operating Officer in 2006 and served in this role before her untimely passing in 2011. She was a strong believer in continuing education, lifelong learning, and the potential of others, and this scholarship honors Liz’s dedication to encouraging and elevating dental assistants at all stages of their careers.
