Taking an exam at a test center
If you plan to take your DANB exam in-person at a Pearson VUE test center, you’ll want to know how to find an exam center near you and what you can expect when you check in at your testing location on exam day.

What to expect at the test center
When you get to the test center, you will need to check in. The test center is a secure environment, so there will be some security measures when you check in. In addition to showing your ID and signing in, you may be asked to take an electronic fingerprint
or palm scan, or have your photo taken at check-in. Friends, family or other visitors will not be allowed into the testing area with you.
After you check in, there will be a lobby with lockers so you can store your things. You will not be allowed to bring any personal items into the testing area. These steps help protect you and ensure a fair testing environment for everyone.
