Renew your DANB certification
Earning DANB certification is a great achievement. Certification must be renewed annually. Hold on to your accomplishment and renew your certification every year.
Renew online
You can renew your certification online up to two months before your certification expiration date. You can view your certification expiration date on your certificate or by logging in to your account. You will also receive an email letting you know when it’s time to renew.
To renew online, log in to your account. Then, click the “Renew Now” button under the notifications section of your account dashboard. Follow the instructions to complete the renewal process.
Please ensure your email address on file is up to date to ensure a smooth renewal process. Email recertification@danb.org with any questions.
Renew by mail
You can submit your renewal by mail or fax by completing the renewal form.
Download the certification renewal form for CDIPC and/or DISIPC certifications only.
Download the certification renewal form for all other DANB certifications.
Renewal requirements
There are three basic requirements to renew your DANB certification:
- Earn continuing education credits.
- Maintain your CPR certificate (for all DANB certifications except CDIPC and/or DISIPC).
- Submit the renewal fee.
