A passing score on DANB’s RHS® exam is recognized by or required to expose radiographs in 22 states and the District of Columbia. The RHS is one of the component exams of both the NELDA and CDA® certifications. It can be taken with the other component exams, by itself, or together with the ICE exam for a cost savings.

The RHS exam can also be taken separately to earn a certificate of knowledge-based competency. The three steps below outline the process for taking the RHS exam only.
