A passing score on DANB’s RHS® exam is recognized by or required to expose radiographs in 20 states and the District of Columbia. The RHS is one of the three component exams of the CDA® exam. The other two component exams are General Chairside Assisting (GC) and Infection Control (ICE®). Candidates who pass all three exams within a five-year period will earn CDA certification.
The RHS exam can also be taken separately to earn a certificate of knowledge-based competency. The three steps below outline the process for taking the RHS exam only.
