The Dental Assisting National Board, Inc. (DANB) and the DALE Foundation are pleased to announce the launch of a new blog and online community for dental assistants: Dental Assistant Life. This blog provides an online space for the more than 300,000 dental assistants working nationwide to access career-focused stories, participate in discussions and celebrate their profession.

Dental Assistant Life features stories about, for and by DANB certificants, DALE Foundation learners and other dental assistants across the country. Some of the most popular stories to date include:

In addition to stories, the blog also features the Dental Assistant Life Forum, a place for dental assistants to ask questions, give their insights and join the conversation with other dental assistants across the country.

This resource launched during Dental Assistants Recognition Week to great popularity and interest, and the first Dental Assistant Life e-newsletter went out to nearly 100,000 people. “We are excited about this brand new way to connect with dental assistants, who are growing not only in number but also in influence,” says Cynthia C. Durley, M.Ed., MBA, Executive Director of DANB and the DALE Foundation. “We hope that Dental Assistant Life will become a helpful and fun new place for dental assistants to learn and share online.”

In the coming months, DANB and the DALE Foundation will have information on sponsorship and advertising opportunities for parties interested in reaching dental assistants. Please contact us at communications@danb.org to learn more.
