As a DANB Certificant, you are required to earn CDE credits every year to successfully renew your certification. DANB and DANB's affiliate, the DALE Foundation, offer several different CDE options to fit your lifestyle, budget and needs.

Earn CDE online. The DALE Foundation, the official DANB affiliate, offers interactive e-learning courses worth between four and 12 CDE credits upon successful completion. Our online courses are developed with your busy life in mind, giving you the flexibility to learn at your own pace. Choose from:

Looking for offline CDE? DANB’s Professional Development Examination Program (PDEP) provides a CDE option that you can complete anytime, anywhere. Those who successfully pass the PDEP exam will earn 12 CDE credits under Category 3 (DANB Exams) of the DANB Recertification Requirements (PDF).

Keep Track of CDE Credits

For your convenience, DANB has created the CDE Recording Form to track your CDE. Print and fill out the form and keep in your records for two years. Do not submit the CDE Recording Form to DANB unless you are selected for a DANB CDE Audit.
